THE third Minehead Bay Festival, organised by Minehead and Coast Development Trust, will be held this year on Saturday, August 31.
The free arts, music, culture, and wellness festival takes place on Minehead Esplanade and along the seafront.
The festival was started in 2022 in partnership with Minehead EYE and the Kite Project and offers an annual fun day out for all the family, young and old alike.
Activities and events include live music, dance, circus entertainment, wellness activities, immersive story-telling, yoga, arts, and crafts workshops, sand sculpting demonstrations and workshops, and an urban arts area with street artists painting murals, as well as a portable skate ramp with free tuition from professional skateboarders.
A spokesperson said: “The festival brings international art and culture to the town and community of Minehead, while celebrating our talented local artists, musicians, and young people, and giving them a platform to showcase their work.”
